Changes concerning fee payments

Hereby, we inform you that the University of Pécs is becoming a foundation-maintained higher education institution starting from the 1st of August 2021. This transformation will not affect your application, or your future studies at the University, however, we would like to draw your attention to important deadlines and changes concerning fee payments.


For payments via bank transfer, you may use the already known bank transfer information only until 20 July 2021!

The current bank account information of the University of Pécs which cannot be used after the 20th July 2021:

Bank account name: Pécsi Tudományegyetem (University of Pécs)
Address of beneficiary: 7622 Pécs, Vasvári P. u. 4.
Bank name: Magyar Államkincstár (Hungarian State Treasury)
Address of bank: 7621 Pécs, Apáca utca 6.

Intermediary bank name (if needed): Magyar Nemzeti Bank (Hungarian National Bank)
Address of intermediary bank: 1054 Budapest, Szabadság tér 8–9.


Following this deadline, please do not transfer any amount to the current bank account of the University, as the full amount minus the transaction costs will be returned to the sender.

New bank transfer information will be provided later in July, which will be in effect only after the 1st of August 2021. There will be no migration between the two bank accounts, therefore the University of Pécs will not be able to receive any payments between the 20th July and the 1st August!

The new bank account information will be updated on our website as well, so please check the relevant site for the update regularly.
