Visa issues
Students from the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland do not require a visa to enter Hungary. However, they must register their residence within 93 days of arrival, either online via the Enter Hungary platform or in person at the competent regional directorate of the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing (NDGAP) The English Admissions and Student Service Office will provide you with the forms, opening hours and list of documents necessary for the registration.
Students coming from outside the EEA (such as Canada, USA, Israel, Iran, India, Japan, Korea, South Africa etc.) are advised to contact their Embassies, or visit Consular Service site.
