Freshman camp
Freshman Camp usually takes place at a campsite next to Lake Balaton. It is an opportunity for you to make brand new friends before the first day of the University. It is a chance for you to ask questions from students who are already at the University and to celebrate the end of the summer in style, by a beautiful lake.
This event is organised by the Hungarian, English and German Student Councils (HOK and EGSC). You will have a chance to meet professors and teachers, but that is not the main focus. You will of course learn a lot from those students that are actually at the University already, and they will give you a perspective that the teachers might not! In our experience, students remember it as one of the best events every year.
