It has been designed to provide undergraduate and post-graduate students of the Medical School and of the Faculty of Health Sciences with the possibility of a complex/integrated hands-on skills practice of their future profession. It will have a supportive effect in practicing certain movements, activities and procedures of the everyday tasks of a doctor or health worker, furthermore it will also enhance the professional development within several specialized fields of medicine.
Located on the top floor of the Main Building of the Medical School, the Lab is equipped with realistic dummies, the most up-to-date digital boards, high fidelity and 3D devices to motivate students in preparing for their future profession, even by the side of a patient’s bed in hospital. Besides the compulsory courses designed in the time-table for this kind of hands-on practice, the students are also offered the opportunity to do individual, self-motivated practice.
