Students have two primary accommodation options: residing in one of the University’s dormitories or renting a private flat. Below, we provide an overview of both alternatives to help you choose the option that best suits your needs.

Dormitories:

Dormitories are a great choice if you’re looking for a more social and structured environment, and they are also typically more affordable.

Monthly cost: €180 – €235 Dormitories include basic utilities and are located relatively close to campus.

Available dormitories:

  • Szántó Dormitory – H-7633 Pécs, Szántó Kovács János u.
  • Damjanich Dormitory – H-7624 Pécs, Damjanich u. 30.
  • Balassa Dormitory – H-7624 Pécs, Jakabhegyi út 6.

In a dorm, you’ll have the chance to meet other international students, enjoy shared facilities, and be part of a lively student community.

Flats:

If you prefer more privacy and flexibility, renting a flat in Pécs might be the right fit for you.

Monthly cost for a 2-room apartment: €320 – €550 Note: This price depends on the location, size, and condition of the flat. Utility bills and building management fees are not included in this price.

Additionally, most landlords require a security deposit (usually equal to 1 or 2 months’ rent) to be paid before moving in. This deposit is returned to you when you move out.
