The University of Pécs Medical School has an ongoing collaboration with Oslo New University College in Norway (Oslo Nye Høyskole; ONH) to train General Medicine and Dentistry students under the scope of the ONH 1+5 (General Medicine) and 1+4 (Dentistry) Programs.
Students recruited by ONH complete their first year at the Medical Biology Program in Oslo, Norway. After having successfully completed all their first year subjects at ONH and having completed a summer course in Pécs, the students will be admitted to the University of Pécs Medical School, and are entitled to start their studies in Pécs in the second year of the General Medicine or the Dentistry Program. The courses successfully completed at ONH will be accepted at the University of Pécs Medical School by an automatic credit transfer procedure.
Inquiries and information about the eligibility and admission procedure should be directed at ONH.

Graduating from the University of Pécs Medical School gives students a solid, internationally recognized medical qualification, because our medical diploma has strong international recognition due to WFME accreditation and EU/EEA rules, which supports application for Norwegian authorization.
Once back in Norway, graduates can apply for medical authorization and complete the LIS1 internship before practicing independently as doctors.
